The USGS Quality Systems Branch - Organic Blind Sample Project (OBSP) purpose is to monitor, assess and evaluate the USGS National Water Quality Laboratory (NWQL) organic analytical results through the use of blind quality assurance samples. The OBSP was implemented in 1996 and reviews over 600 organic constituents.
Charts and data secured from this U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) web page (identified as "OBSP") have not received official USGS approval and as such are provisional and subject to revision. The charts and data are released on the condition that neither the USGS nor the U.S. Government shall be held liable for any damages resulting from its authorized or unauthorized use.
